The Blake at Waco is an 110-unit, 93,000 SF assisted living and memory care community located in Waco, Texas. This striking property was designed to reflect the modernization occurring in Waco while staying true to the area’s traditional Texas roots. This can be seen in the modern Southern aesthetic along with the rich blue and green accents.  

Our design team was influenced by central Texas’ rolling landscapes, the nearby farmlands and Waco’s historic past. The materials palette consists of natural wood elements, inviting fabrics and a variety of textures that create an atmosphere designed to feel like home to the residents.

This community has no shortage of intricate detailing including gorgeous wooden beams, stunning light fixtures and custom signage. The art package features architectural and historical elements of Waco’s Baylor University. The American flag featured in the community’s Country Kitchen accompanies the Squadron that flew from France to Germany in May 1945 after D-Day.
